in 2001, Energy Star wanted to especially promote usage of energy efficient air conditioners. This tongue-in-cheek newspaper campaign was developed to be highly informative, but still interesting to engage. Ultimately, it did not run due to downscaling of the project to simply showing a penguin at the bottom of partner ads. Still a great bit of fun and some great copywriting.
